“If You’re Innocent You’ll Go To Heaven: Iranian Judge Sentences Man To Hang After A Two Minute Trial

minal law, Religion, Society

rezahosseini2.png.885x520_q85_box-0,0,884,520_crop_detail_upscaleAny Iranian judge offered another glimpse into the medieval Sharia legal system. After a man was given a trial lasting only a couple minutes, Reza Hosseini, 34, begged the judge to listen to his evidence that he is innocent. Instead, the judge told the man “if you’re innocent you’ll go to heaven.”
Hosseini was one of four prisoners hanged to death on Tuesday at Ghezel Hesar Prison of Karaj in northern Iran. His charges were drug related but he insisted that he was charged because he got into a “physical altercation” with the authorities in the parking lot of their house. The family said that the drugs seized in the case came not from his house but a neighbor’s house. They say that he was beaten while in custody for 70 days.

In a perfunctory trial, Judge Tayerani encouraged him to plead guilty but Hosseini replied saying: “Why should I plead guilty if I am innocent?” Tayerani reportedly responded “If you are innocent, then you will go to heaven after you are hanged.” Now that is convenient.

His wife, Azadeh Geravand, said that she and the family were not allowed to visit him and that they were only allowed to see him 11 months after his arrest.

The family was finally able to speak with the prosecutor who allegedly told them that Hosseini would be exonerated. However, without afforded an opportunity to defend him or present a case, he was summarily convicted and sentence to death. The only consideration extended to him by the judge was his assurance of paradise — apparently the only real appeal from a Sharia court.

Even after his sentence, officials refused to allow the family to see Hosseini and instead heaped ridiculed and abuse on them."

Next time iyou want Sharia Law to be made legal in the former USA and not include religion as a reason to deny immigration (wake up left wing I'm talking at you) consider what the Friends of Mullah Obama have in store for you...especially since there are no more civil rights and constitution.

these folks are stuck in the seventh century and we
have certainly improved our understanding of life
since then. . it is astounding to see the degree of
acceptance of this stuff among current humans.
it probably serves to prove that the cave man
mentality is an enduring one. -- j

I would say that religions are not the most rational sets of ideas on the planet. I didnt know that the christians also wanted to kill the infidels- I thought they just wanted to "convert" them but leave them alive. This seems to be set up to get rid of competition from other religions.

Too bad for the islamists. Not that I am a scholar by any means on the subject, but I did see a documentary on TV one day that said muslims were actually quite ahead of the western scholars in the past. Something must have happened.... because now they are just basking in the glory of the oil that was discovered, but do little else.

The Judaeo-Christian scripture also has proposals to kill others that don't share their tribe/faith, and most Jews and Christians have managed to attribute those statements to past history and not directive on behavior today. The difference is that those faiths reached a turning point that resulted in a moral reformation allowing recognition that a positive message would help, rather than hinder their religion. Islam, riven by a civil war within the faith, has yet to reach that crisis point, and doesn't seem to be ready for it anytime soon.

Sufis have a different interpretation of the violent admonitions in the Qur'an, seeing them as symbolic of the struggle to resist attacks by advocates of other religions, rather than current acts of violence. Until other Muslims start to adopt this view, it's impractical to grant unlimited tolerance of the religion.

In their "bible" it says to kill infidels (non believers). Either a Muslim disavows that part of their "bible" or they don't. Any one who calls himself a Muslim and doesn't disavow that tenet is a violent enemy of mine who will kill me or watch me being killed by the "extremists".

Like every other religion, there are times when the crazies take control. Sufi Muslims reject violence, but they're unfortunately in the minority. There are Muslims who advocate a "reformation" to bring the faith into a modern recognition of civilized behavior, but even in this country they find little support. Fanaticism in any form, secular or religious, throws logic and reason out the window.

islam is not a religion... it is a totalitarian, theocratic geopolitical system, disguised as a Religion. It is no more a Religion than is Nazism. Books from both are merely Manifestos, As for prophethood, both authors are just about equal.

Only until Islam completely denounces Sharia Law will I even consider accepting Islam into our country. After reading "Unveiling Islam" I realize Muslims are not to be trusted. Yes, there may be a few that embrace Western culture but until I read about a complete reformation in Islam I will continue to stand guard.

I have to say that I actually respect that about Sanders. He is definitely anti-establishment and is taking the heat for that just like Trump. Of course Sanders' fixes to the problems are really uneducated and statist, but at least we know what they are. Although Trump is not an objectivist by any stretch, and will probably serve in a den of snakes should he be elected, at least he might slow down the process of the establishment running roughshod over us- at least a little bit.

exactly. so long as the muslims profess to believe in the "killing of the infidels" thing, I think of them as the enemy to be guarded against.

At least they tell you in advance what they think of your life if you are an infidel..

At least Sanders tells us he is a socialist and will take my money whenever he can. Hillary on the other hand tells us she is 'fighting for us", when she in fact is fighting against us. A snake in the grass.

There's that story about befriending a snake.
To make that short story even shorter, the dying befriender asks the snake why it bit him after all the nice things that were done.
The snake says, "I'm a snake."

What would you expect from a politico/religion operating with laws formulated 1,500 years ago? All that Islam proves to me is that at the very least there are 3 to 4 hundred million humans on the planet who are bestial and bloodthirsty. That is the probable percentage of Muslims who are radical. Personally, I think there are more. It is my opinion that you don't negotiate with them, or try to get along with them any more than you would if confronted by a panther. They go for your tongue first -- the radicals and the panther.
    If called by a panther
    Don't anther.

Is Loretta Lynch Islamic? She couldn't be covering for Hillary and call herself any kind of Christian. I'm betting Islamic or one of those off the wall Haiti derivatives. Church of D Wasserman?

As for you if you die in your sleep from over activity you will not get 70 Virginians but a sampling of Hollywood Virgins. What's a Hollywood Virgin? They only act the part.

Correct me if I'm wrong. If I shoot at least one Muslim (preferably Iranian), everyday, I can go to bed knowing I have done my good deed for the day? Simply by following this judge's rule of law "if you are innocent you will go to sharia hell, I mean heaven"?

See no problem with this law....;)

Islam is one crazy religion. The last thing I want to do is have anything to do with people who believe in Islam. Why would anyone who is a non believer in islam want to deal with these intolerant and violent people. No islamist refugees are welcome in the USA as far as I am concerned. Political correctness be damned.

What's with all the down votes on the "New" page, Michael?...they are all good articles and relate to AS in my opinion.
I just up voted this post...it was at 0.

Is there a bit of subversion in the group? I would of thought this group was beyond that...that's one of the reasons I came here.

He probably would of lived if he pleaded guilty...

Thank You Reverend Dobrien I have seen the light. Really!!!

In the Book by Caldwell Taylor "The Devil's Advocate and also in AS the point was made part of the system of repression economic or otherwise is to always have a diversion and a major crisis such as a war is always best. The Slogan in DA was "Unity, Duty, Sacrifice! The explanation was you can't have a nation to become a vassal slave state dependent on it's food shipments etc. without continual wars. Always one more enemy. Venezuela will await it's turn as will Iran. Meanwhile the home country is encouraged one way or the other to give up more of what they produce and work longer harder hours.

Your unsarcastic witticism reminded me of that. I can find no better explanation for the action of the current administration and it fit's the probable next choice? No not a choice just garbage shoved down our throats. But only if we we choose to dine at their table.

I never thought one day I would be fairly cast in the roll of enemy of the state and one of it's greatest dangers. But then never though I'd live to see the death of our nation.

They will have to do it without my help. Let the enablers and eat garbage. I'll stick with Tacos. At least until they invade across the Southern Border by then I'll be gone somewhere else.

This reply is sarcasm ! Thankfully Kerry and Barry saved us from them and their nuclear ambitions. Islam is a peaceful religion. The Iranians have a history of hospitality
I remember like yesterday how they took care of our embassy and citizens. The covered their eyes to protect them from the sun. They are very generous to groups like Hamas and Isis.

Now this is not sarcastic -Everything this admin has done in the region has created instability and strengthened the mullahs. Our enemy within.
