Whiskey flavored bacon is not new, we've been marinating bacon with Jack Daniels since the '70's. And, my best friend has been infusing Jack Daniels with crispy bacon and pork jerky for decades. mmmmm... bacon...

Your not alone. My Dad used Jack on his pork ribs back in the day. Of course you know he was only procuring my addiction to booze. Well just to let you know I beat it because being a truck driver well you know regulations. I still love bacon.

I thought using distillery grains was a fairly common way to get cheaper feed for livestock. It seems like a good use of the grain to me. I think CA is going to ban this practice, though. Now the farmers in CA will have to pay to have the stuff buried or whatever. I hope IA doesn't pay attention to CA.
