A "Colossal Wreck, Boundless and Bare"
During the last one hundred years, most so-called intellectuals have engaged in a giant sales job for government. Regardless of the details of their compositions, all governments have one thing in common: they are legally entitled to initiate force. That power has been sold as a means to overcome social ills and promote desirable goals. Force is the antithesis of what actually produces progress―freedom and limited government that protects personal security, property and contract rights. Compulsion is an ineffective way to train animals; the idea that it can successfully order human societies has been man’s most enduring and pernicious fraud. Force’s failure has been demonstrated repeatedly; now we are on the cusp of its ultimate denouement.
I hope for the "Renaissance of Liberty."
