    Always argued that the Greats... Hill, Rockefeller, etc would have never bought a politician for protection against government...seems to me that from that time on in America, it all went south. (and buying that politician never did much for them either)...never go to bed with the enemy.

    If government had obeyed the constitution we never would have needed lobbyist.

    Every one of them. I often challenge people to dig deeper into any perceived ill and it becomes plain that the government either created it, allowed it to flourish, or made it worse. Problem is, this requires step by step analysis - and people do not want to mentality exert themselves. If a "thought" doesn't fit into a slogan, it is too much for most.
