What I love is that he is respectful even to people who are downright rude back to him. He is a Southern Gentleman - always using "sir" and "ma'am".

Also, he's a heck of a lawyer. Check out his litigation record. He's far more qualified to sit on SCOTUS than either of the last two hacks.

We are indeed. The attacks on his credibility will be withering. Metaphorically like those on John Galt in the basement of the SSI, constant misdirection intended to deliver pain. He and his committee will require constant support from the citizens of this great nation.
    Cheers

Whether HRC is compelled to testify in a public forum or in a non-public deposition where the record is public, I do not care. Words in a deposition can free the the facts from the imposition of false and deceptive emotions. HRC and her DOS staff deserve no pity. They need to be held accountable for the objectively observed outcomes of their idiotic PC policies.
Thanks for your observations Mimi, et.al.
    Cheers

I firmly support Trey Gowdy and would love to work/help him in any way I can to irradicate the corruption and deceit that defines the U.S. government today. Not all members of our government are guilty but as it has been stated "The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing." Isn't that where we are as a nation today!!! People are either too afraid or too tolerant to speak up and make a difference in America's future. "We the people" are like lambs being led to the slaughter.

He is a brilliant lawyer. When he questioned Eric Holder during the Fast and Furious hearings, he caught Mr. Holder by surprise.
“Oh, those are legal terms you are using.” Holder kind of mumbled to himself. When Gowdy threw out the word de-monstrous to describe an event, Holder replied he wouldn’t refer to the event using that word. Gowdy came back with a line of questions that in every sentence he threw in the word de-monstrous. It was priceless. If you get a chance, look it up on youtube. He says he can’t wait to question Hilary, and I can’t wait for him to question her either. He’s going to make her eat her words: “what difference does it make”, like someone should have at the time.

It is so refreshing to witness a politician do what is right when no one is looking. People are looking now, but trey has not changed. He is doing the right thing for the right reasons. So many politicians only want face time and their name spelled correctly in the NYT, even if they are complicate in a scandal. I have been in some dangerous situations but I would never want to be between a camera and little chunky Shummer or nancy pelosi or dingy Harry Reid. One would be trampled to death.

The world is made up of three types of people. Sheep, wolves and sheep dogs. Trey is one of the sheep dogs. Always alert, honest, and respects his position of responsibility and his authority.
    Cheers

There are a lot of skeletons in the WJBC & HRC closets. And I used the plural intentionally since there are so many skeletons.

Why do I think of Vince Foster and Fort Marcy Park when Trey Gowdy's inquiry into Hillary Clinton's role in Benghazi is discussed?

You gotta love this guy, I wish more politicians were like him. Then we might not be in the mess we are in.

If Mr. Gowdy doesn't meet with an unfortunate accident, history may remember him as the guy that led us in the right direction when only a handful of men had the courage to stand up. He will not quit. I watched a 15 year old cold case on the ID channel that Gowdy prosecuted to a guilty verdict. He is the same kind of man now as when he was the Prosecuting Attorney in South Carolina. We are fortunate to have him.
