Not really. Before becoming vice president Dick and Lynn Cheney donated all their Halliburton stock to a charitable trust. The last time I checked it was worth about $30 million. I tried explaining to a leftist friend that Cheney didn't make a dime off Halliburton's Iraq contracts, but when I showed him the reference he insisted "irrevocable" means Cheney could take the money back any time he wanted to.

They aren't all the same. When you look behind their public personas you can see the differences. Some are just plain bad, and others are worse.
