When America elects BHO and Dirty Harry Reid, it gets what it deserves. Canada grew up out of its liberalism and is now far more conservative than the US.

  "Far more," might be a bit of a stretch. There are regions that are less liberal, and some that are still radically liberal. But they've certainly turned the corner, and turned their back, on overall radical collectivism.

    Canada has realized that it can't borrow money that it doesn't have. They are not as conservative as the US was during the 1980s, but the US is among the radically illiberal countries in the world now.

      And the U.S. wasn't particularly conservative in the 1980s... just conservative compared to the radical 1960s/70 and 2000+...

According to Rolling Stones this month, a couple WH insiders have said the president is going to officially reject the pipeline when the time is right.
I feel he might have to do it before the elections as a last-ditch effort to kick up some base support.
