This makes 14. Actually 15 if you count the CEO of the bitcoin company that died last month.

    I doubt suicides. That would indicate that these folks had some scruples and couldn't bear living with their indiscretions. I don't think that many of them have any problem living with themselves. The thousand thread count sheets and baby goose down pillows tend to provide a lot of cushion to sooth the conscience.

    Methinks the actuaries for the life insurance companies need to add this to the risk profile for bankers!

    She’s lovely, really. It works. This season ends with an even more delicious cliff-hanger.
    *sigh* We have a couple years before we will see another: I almost envy you because you can still look forward to seeing season 3

    Rich;

    A movie comes to mind, "The Firm". Remember Gene Hackman's character? A smart, but corrupt lawyer who went along with the game for years and, when he finally fell into Cruise's trap, he accepted his impending death as the price for his success.

    These people were all high enough up to know of the cons being run by their investment bank employers. Did they see the end coming and accept it? Are they suicides, or are these deaths not what we're led to believe?

    If only we'd controlled nail guns he'd still be alive. Where did he get that nail gun? Ban the National Nailgun Association! Register nail guns!

    A few months ago I sent a friend a message: "It's raining bankers" and it was. (Isn't it interesting how many of them jump from tall buildings?) It appears financial markets have been rigged for decades. Why jump now? Why not take the loot and run (retire to Hong Kong or Switzerland) while one can...or...are the bigger fish covering their tracks by getting rid of the smaller fish?

    interesting.. It just seems odd.. First there was the mass quitting back in 2010/2011 with a lot of the sectors best and brightest just cashing out an leaving. Now, the remaining ones seem to be "killing" themselves. Of course, then there was Richard Talley, he apparently was so focused on ending it all that he shot himself in the torso and head with a nail gun 7 or 8 times... Kind of reminds me of when Agbar killed himself by blowing his brains out then lighting himself on fire.
