The problem when any financial institution that has a long horizon makes promises for it's participants. Before it gets ugly, everything is great, and the "projections" look good. The reality hits, and all the funny investments they patted themselves on the back for, unravel, and oops, sorry... There will be many states soon lined up for this sort of thing, let alone the multi corp retirement plans.
