The #1 Risk To Earth (A must watch)

Ben Davidson explains how the sun can trigger the #1 risk to earth, based on severity and likelihood, and the current state of earth’s magnetic reversal, including how our protection from solar energy is weakening with it. In the second half of 2015 several minor solar upticks (100x weaker than ‘big’ ones) caused geomagnetic events we would expect from the only the largest flares every decade or so. This trend is expected to continue and it is not a pretty picture for the coming decades.

Ben is the Director and Founder of Space Weather News, The Mobile Observatory Project, The Disaster Prediction App, SpaceWeatherNews.com, Suspicious0bservers.org, MagneticReversal.org, QuakeWatch.net, ObservatoryProject.com, and the Suspicious0bservers YouTube Channel, with more than 260,000 minds alert to what the mainstream deems ‘unimportant’.

What? Olduglycarl, are you actually trying to prove that a wild natural fiery gas bag for a gigantic nuclear furnace in the center of our solar system can do actually unpredictable stuff that may effect earth?
Such as changes in the weather like climate change perhaps?
Whoa! Even to the point of causing magnetic polar shifts?
Oh, how quaint! And, oh, how PC insensitive to a whole host of college-aged EcoNazis who might now need go have a good cry in their designated safe spaces.
    You meanie!
Freedom of speech no linger applies to manmade climate change deniers..
Hope you know you could be sued. DOJ fuhrer Roberta Lynch and a several state attorney generals are behind such an initiative.
So you need to be more careful of what you write, of what you say, and even of what you freaking think.
BIG BROTHER SHALL BE WATCHING YOU!
So what you need to do is sit down and shut up.
The parasite infestation called mankind is responsible for all climate wrongs on this polluted with people planet!

Wow, allosaur, that was spot on. You are very brave to have said all that on Earth Day. You are definitely going to be fined and go to jail. I would visit you, but I'll probably be in there with you. I celebrated Earth Day by throwing an aluminum soda pop can in the trash instead of into the recycle bin. I feel very rebellious.

Except for the polar shifts, (no causation factor)-Yet, YES I am.

I'm on to you and taking the side of the PC'ers even jokingly will not save you buddy...Laughing my butt off...and there it goes.........................

To declare causation, all factors must be known to pick out the factors from a correlation which indicates causation. Causation implies correlation but correlation does not necessarily imply causation.
The law of cause and effect is another way of saying that nature is consistent.
In the case of the Earth-Sun-planets system, causation is hard to come by in most cases of correlation and especially hard when dealing with interactions between Earth and radiation from the sun and cosmic radiation. Sometimes all you have is a correlation and if there is no correlation there cannot be a hypothesis dealing with causation. Sometimes it is difficult to find the factors that are the causation. Take for example highway deaths. There is a correlation to average number of highway deaths per 100,000 population to which side of the highway drivers drive on. Drivers in countries driving on the right side in 1990 had a death rate of 20 per 100000 population while in countries driving on the left side had a death rate of about 12 per 100000 population. What is the cause of the difference in death rates, i.e., what factors are necessary and sufficient to make those correlations into a causal situation?

Hey, only the great Al Gore can talk about an inconvenient truth, and shame on you for trying to talk above the ozone in his head in the first place.
(Psst, I'm selling hits of pure carbon dioxide gas. House and garden plants just love the product).

Dino, I was just watching those left over critters from the great impact hopping in my front yard looking for worms and bugs and looking out for those nasty feral cats. Probably should let CO2 get to at least 1000 parts per million and see if that is enough to support very good environment. It just gets me when someone looks at some math results showing correlation and then shoots off into the that-indicates- causation thing. That is as bad as the fantasy world that those who try to reify mathematics live in.

That goes for most of both the left an right. They both use a divide, unite, and rule technique with much disinformation and reasoning with very questionable premises thrown into mix of crap coming from their mouths.

Lost in a fire a sizable great book of quotations that ran back from the 60s to ancient times.
I bring that up because the earliest thing ever found written or else translated was by Mesopotamian, Sumerian or something like that.
What he wrote was to never trust anybody.

Trust is the key to human interactions. All social interactions seem to have a lot of trust issues where dress, greetings, oaths, how you eat, where you live, what words come out of your mouth, political beliefs, religion or philosophy, opinions about art, and just about everything you do socially along with what you might do in private will take part in being trusted. It seems to be built into all animals including the human animal. Even Rand was not clear by sometimes distinguishing between animals and mankind and at other times defining man as a rational animal.

About a decade ago I lost some money in what was then called the biggest penny stock scam in history. Look up CMKX if you care to.
Maybe that's how I got on a sucker list. Since then there have been off and on attempts to rip me off.
Within the last six months I've warded off as many phone call attempts to give up checking account information usually with males and females Hispanic accents.
One el senor shamster even told me I had won the Publishing Clearing House sweepstakes and all I needed to do was to pay a BS fee with plastic.
Last a couple of weeks ago came professional-sounding good enough for radio female and male voices who wanted me to use plastic to buy a "Help I've fallen and I can't get up" whatchamacallit device.
I told them to send me more information in the mail. I received a B/W postcard in the mail with only a 1-8something number with no mention of a company. I couldn't even find a name by checking out that number on my PC.
Three thousand years from now archeologists may find three of my written words: "Never trust anybody."

Boy...they got your number...I refuse to answer my phone if I don't know the number...if it's a scammer...My wife auto calls that number and when it's picked up...show blows a whistle into the phone...they never call back...

I used a loudly ringing alarm clock on a caller one time.
Lately at the advice of my son, I'll very often see an 1-800 number or nothing more than this or that town and a state on my caller ID, answer, and as quick as I'm asked "Is this Mr, Allosaur?" I'll say "Take me off your list" and hang up.
Whenever I see "Anonymous" or "Unknown Number," I'll press the answer button immediately followed by the off button. That messes up those who uses a multiple call technique.
I consider such caller IDs to be an insult.

Happy Earth Day, aka Vlad Lenin's birthday. If they want to insist on the global warming or come after denier's, then they need to admit they are changing the jet stream with HAARP. How can we deny they are changing the weather, but it is the government.
If the sun comes after us, we are all in trouble, that I won't deny.

HAARP has been shut down, cause it didn't work on the ionosphere like they thought...mankind cannot effect the weather nor the climate in any significant way...they tried, failed, pissed away our money and gave up...Ya...surprising that these idiots actually did something that made sense...now, that is not to say that they are screwing up our environment...because they certainly are.

Weather, climate, environment are different things...what happens or what is done in our troposphere (our environment) stays in the troposphere.

HAARP was temporarily shut down, while a new company was put in as the operators. Part of the operations was shifted to Puerto Rico, but the Alaska facility is still up. The military still feels it is viable, but they do not want the public watching what they do.

There are certain benefits to being old. With everything there is to worry about, now we need to toss solar flares into the mix. I was a lot happier not knowing this, plus there is nothing I can do about it except to build a complete underground shelter. (See 10 Cloverfield Place). And I'm not about to do that. There are times when it may well be better to be ignorant, at least in my case.. "If ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise." All you younger folks, now armed with apocalyptic knowledge -- will at least know that when all electricity goes down, you were warned. And that helps, how?

Herb7734 your wisdom is obvious. Apocalyptic events occur, the end of the world happens for somebody all the time. The fact that everyone's life is precious and it can change in an instant. Changed by unexpected uncontrollable events, or poor decisions-- it can happen. When it does hit the fan do the best you can. My humble opinion says take advantage of living life to the fullest now in the present. Laugh with joy when you get another day to repeat. Don't take the present for granted. Prepare always to repeat the best that life offers.

Herb...you get another source of power, a little extra to eat and a metal filling cabinet or a metal cage (dog cage) to protect your electronics...yea, that's all it takes buddy...

The Amateur Radio community has been watching this for several years. Long distance (DX) communications have been far more sporadic, choppy, etc. for the past few months than any time in the past several years. It's pretty tough even to stay on frequency as the conditions fade in and out for signal propagation.

We're also watching and trying to protect our gear from an EMP caused by a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). That would be the other thing that would really screw up our modern world.

A simple metal cage, chicken wire or a metal filling cabinet is all it takes.

I plan on insulating my garage...something I haven't gotten to...I now think that when I do, I would put chicken wire on the beams after insulating and put the sheetrock over that.
Should protect my cars also...just a thought.

The tricky parts in implementing any Faraday Cage are 1) that the cage itself must be of sufficient density that the spaces between the bars are smaller than the wavelength of the smallest signal you wish to prevent from reaching the inside of the Cage and 2) that the device within the Cage must be separated by a non-conductive ground from everything else (including the Cage itself) and 3) that the Cage must completely surround the item to be protected and 4) the Cage must be electrically grounded. Basically, if you want to protect something by a Cage, it has to be totally cut off from everything in the environment. A radio is only protected if it is in a cage or anti-static bag, but it also can't be in use!

If you want to turn your garage into a Cage, the first steps you have are good. The challenges are going to be the doors and windows ;) I would also keep in mind that any electrical wires leading from outside the garage to inside violate the Cage... Buildings are incredibly tough to Cage.

Good point about the wires...got the doors and window figured out.
I read a paper a long time ago that stated that a solar or cosmic emp would produce a wave that was too big to effect the tiny electronics we have these days. Lost site of the link a while back.
My problem is that there are too many things of interest to me.

Hmmm. That's different than the information I have on EMP's: their problem is that they send out very high energy pulses on a wide range of frequencies, even including ultraviolet. But typically we don't worry about anything if higher frequency than microwaves as they don't tend to affect most circuits (barring use of photovoltaics and such).

Billy Yelverton on suspicious0bservers.org did some testing with a microwave, florescent light bulb and a simple cage...I don't think they've done any testing of size of cages, pulse or size of electronics.
But I remember the conversation about small electronics...which most everything is now days.

Just another version of the climate-change disaster myth. I guess it just wouldn't do for the statists to let a year pass without most people believing the world is in crisis and is going to fall apart any day now. I'm sure this is why most people are depressed. All the better for us who know better than to listen to those people.

Depression has many causes and layers. For many lack of self esteem , self pride , confidence.
Indeed personal accountability contribute. Depression has been described as anger turned inward.
