You need a valid testable theory of how these solar events cause earthquakes. Everything I know about the theory around earthquakes today does not fit your hypothesis. Mere correlation is not at all sufficient as others have mentioned. You need at the very least a plausible explanation that explains earthquakes of high magnitude better in these terms than current theories do. Without that it is not rational to assert causation.

The studies may show some short term correlations, but remember that correlation does not make causation. I would say that solar and lunar tidal action (sometimes 10's of centimeters vertical extension) on the solid Earth along with plate movements from the forces from a rotating
Earth would be a large part of the cause of earthquakes. A large coronal mass ejection directed toward the Earth might cause a large enough magnetic field to affect the rocky earth but I would guess not by much at kilometers depth.

We are talking about a direct causation between these coronal holes and earthquakes where we see out going long wave radiation...It only applies to quakes 7.5 and up. The lower ones the earth/pressure does by it self. We have direct statistical evidence and public pear review.
