That pesky Second Amendment...

Our Dear Leader, The One, Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm) won't let our Bill of Rights get in the way of his desires. I mean after all, it was written by a bunch of old guys. And our society has "evolved" since that time, right?

    Notice that's only a credit card processing company, not a bank. At some point, they are going to need an actual bank, and then they will be out of luck. I applaud this short-term action, but the fundamental issue of the federal gov't picking and choosing which legal businesses that it will "allow" by virtue of approval, needs to be stopped.

    Not necessarily true. Many banks require state/federal approval, so if they don't approve (or FDIC doesn't approve), they won't get what they need to operate and will then close down for all.

    Non;

    You know McMillan designed and supplied sniper rifles to the US military? Yes. It appears not only will we eat our own, we'll eat ourselves. If you find out McMillan Merchant Solutions wants investors, let me know!

    Well said, and may he continue to earn success by doing a great business with like minded people. I'm going to look into this myself.

    "...if Colorado's pot merchants can find a way, then so can gun retailers."

    But moderns don't like defending themselves nearly as much as they like escaping reality.

    Your_Name;

    Thanks for posting this, but "...bunch of old white guys" you left out the white.

    The administration's not just antigun, although I can't say it's entirely antidrug. In fact, sometimes it's pretty ambivalent, still, if Colorado's pot merchants can find a way, then so can gun retailers. The pro-gun banker who takes their business will accept the risks and the profits will be his, and I hope he does well. If he can find a way around being part of the Federal Reserve system, so much the better.

    Here is a hero worthy of Atlas Shrugged:
    "After McMillan Group owner Kelly McMillan publicized Bank of America’s action on his Facebook account, he found that thousands of small gun-shop owners across the country were in the same situation. Banks were either dropping them, freezing their accounts or refusing to process their online sales, so he opened a credit card processing company for the gun industry called McMillan Merchant Solutions."
