Instead of a few thousand for hearing aids get what he just said in the hunter form for hearing in the woods and nature spots. A few hundred for a good quality pair will out do any of the multi thousand dollar hearing aids with all the controls and settings needed. Like the cataract correction scam hearing aids are meant for ripping off the old folks

For a buck at the "Dollar Tree" you can get a set of earphones that hook on the ear the same as the ones shown. They work fine especially working around the yard and participating in sporting or other similar activities. They even stand up unexpectedly well against moisture from sweat or rain. They aren't meant to fit super tight like an ear bud so you can hear the noise of the environment around you. For example, I use them while roller blading in the morning and can hear approaching vehicles. I usually end up wrecking a pair every six to eight months from lots of use, but for a buck apiece I can keep a few spares around the house.

If the lizard space aliens had been exposed to anything Clintonite at all, they would have just flown on.

Well, V by itself was a TV show about outer space lizard people disguised as human-looking humanoids.
Thought it very important to point that out. Yeah.

I use a pair of earbuds -- not very often, though --
which have foam covers, to make them stay in place.
don't know where I got them, but they work! -- j

Is that anything like Orson Wells' "Rosebud?"
In reality that sled was a spoof on the real "Kane" because that was his pet name for his wife's lady-part.
(It starts with a V and rhymes with angina.)

LOL! Excellent! I happen to be a curmudgeon who prefers over-the-ear headphones. And, I'm not really an (overpriced) Apple fan.

With a hearing aid in one ear and an ear bud in the other, I wend my merry way through life's ups and downs. Now, there is an ear bud accessory. My cup sloppeth over.

khalling, why should I ding you when I've just been inspired to think up~

An episode in The Lives Of Two Old Timers
(Like allosaur, they are content with a PC at the house and a simple cell phone)

    ROAR! ROAR!
Hey buddy, look out! Look out for that bear!
    ROAR! ROAR!
Why can't I get that man's attention? Hey, buddy! There's a bear behind you!
    ROAR! ROAR!
Bear! Bear! There's a--aurgh! Oh, no!
    CRUNCH! CHOMP!
Dang, I ain't going over there just to get mauled too.
Call 911! Maybe first respondents can save whatever will be left his deaf butt.
    CHOMP! CHOMP! CHOMP!
Thank you, 911! Oh, and send cops with big guns. Have a nice day.
    ARRR! ARRR! ARRR!
Hear that ambulance? That was fast! Maybe it was close by.
    ARRR! ARRR! ARRR!
Hey, but look over there! That kid with a device in his hand.
    ARRR! ARRR! ARRR!
Yeah, he's walking into traffic. Hey, kid! Hey, kid!
    ARRR! ARRR! ARRR!
Look out for that ambulance! Hey--aurgh! oh, no!
    BUMP! ARRR rrrrr rrrrrr r!
At least that poor distracted kid got hit by the first emergency vehicle we sent for..
Yeah, but what about the guy with the bear?

We will return to The Lives of Two Old Timers after these important messages. Say, folks, have you ever heard of EARBUDi?

I voted you up just to be contrary! This is a good idea. Sometimes I think I'm worse than a teenager considering how much I wear my buds!
