Previously we thought solar wind was causing the stretching and folding of the particles-like making taffy. Anything else we've seen such a structure meant particles were travelling at very fast speeds Now we know there is a connection between the Earth's rotation and those belts that cause the particles to move in that way. They have another one of those probes headed to Jupiter. They are expecting to see similarities. They can rule out solar wind as a variable and concentrate on the planet's rotation. I have no idea if I'm right. lol Did I sound authoritative?| Permalink
