The rule of law is in place so crony govt pet agencies, BLM in particular here, cannot just swoop in and do what they please through intimidation. The line is drawn in the sand. I think Texas will win.

I saw this license plate the other day that read, “Live Free or Die”.It was bold and direct. I like it. I realized I don’t know much about modern-day NH. Never been there. Lately, I want to see it very much. :)

Well I do not consider myself a Texan as I lived in Florida until a few years ago but I will admit I like it better here except for the lack of water.

My husband is originally from LI as well. Kings Park. Love Cooperstown, but you're correct about the taxes and governance. We are looking at other parts of the US. CT is ridiculous!

There are quite a few Texans in here! It seems the ideas of Ayn's and the disposition of those from Texas have a natural disposition towards one another.

I won't. My son probably won't. But maybe, just maybe, if we start the ball rolling now my great grandchildren or their children will have solvent freedom oriented nation. I'll give up hope in this when they pour my ashes into the sea.

I'm originally from LI NY. My idea of heaven is upstate NY, around Cooperstown or Fultonville. Unfortunately, I can never move back there as the taxes are as obscene as the restrictions and entitlements.

Fair enough. It is pretty unlikely though. I reaaaaaaallly don't want to live in the desert anymore. I've been more then tempted to leave phoenix many times over the year. Unfortunately, every time I look to someplace green to move to I get disgusted with the representation and governance. Texas is pretty appealing though and if I had to bug-out that is where I'd likely go.

Just had to comment on The National Guard. The young people I know in the guard believe what the Federal Government tells them
That is why so many have come back with their lives destroyed from all the places they were never supposed to be sent to like Afghanistan

    Hey Abbott! (Lew Costello)
Is Harry Reid the "Bud Abbott" here?
What the heck is going on? It's like a Grand Conspiracy is in operation with land grabs and all that.
Of course such a conspiracy would extend back into the Bush and Clinton years where the BLM has been following a long-term planned execution of a scheme to grab land et cetera.
    Far fetched?

I was born and raised in Arizona, I am a desert Rat. My mother is a staunch Democrat, I stuffed envelopes for Bob Stump, before he switched sides, I adored Rose Mofford. No, John McCain is an embarrassment, and all of my family that is still in Phoenix are Democrats and they are all in for love and tolerance... as long as it it me bending to them. It does NOT go both ways. I love AZ, the desert, the mountains, the DRY AIR.. The people, not so much. I never thought I'd miss it as much as I did, but watching the last 10 years+ I am very proud to have given birth to a Texan and I am a firm believer in Texas standards. Greg Abbott is fantastic and I'm very glad (fiscally speaking) that I'm here. Roads are crazy but methods work....

Something about the (currently) 30 lawsuits AG Abbott has filed against the self-entitled yanqui invaders from Chicago, and that he is looking over all the BLM land grabs that have, perhaps, wrongfully removed sovereign Texas lands from the people of the great State...

While I so love our home and business in Jefferson, perhaps it's time to return to the Lone Star Republic...
