The rule of law is in place so crony govt pet agencies, BLM in particular here, cannot just swoop in and do what they please through intimidation. The line is drawn in the sand. I think Texas will win.

It ain't the cost of the lead, I'll tell you that. I was doing some consulting with a lead smelter and their prices have been mostly steady or even declining for the past couple of years.

I am related to several families over the years. One crest is for the Howards, the other is for the Kimbers. Both have crests. Hiatt is related to the Kimbers. Kimber and Howard crests are viewable on the web. My last name is Howard, middle name is Kimber for the family. Very British, you know. My mother's god father was General Lord Elphinstone.

Ouch. In a way, tho, rimfire shooters don't have to search high and low for a 8# bottle of propellant that is non-existent - they just buy ammo. I still think the powder shortage is created; after all, there is no right to keep and bear reloading supplies... or ammo, for that matter. Grrr...

They need something to identify them as a unified government agency... all under one overarching, all wise leader.

Lessee... Homburg hats? Naw, too problematic, as some people would have to wear other types of hats.

Identical neckties? Same problem - some people couldn't do that. (Well, there *are* the round hemp variety, but I digress...)

I got it! How about a snazzy armband, everyone can wear one, all the same color. We need a logo on it, tho... just to show it's an official armband. That's the ticket!

Wow, that's about twice as much as it should be. That's more than 13 cents a round, and two years ago, I was getting them for about 6 cents each.

Most in congress either know that things are lost or quickly come to that realization. They merely look to feather their own nest and live apart from the laws that they impose on the rest of us.

But national guard units have a regular army liaison. That officer would be empowered to arrest (or more) any member not recognizing the nationalization order.

One of my ancestors fought on William's side. He was knighted after Hastings, on the field, and awarded Saxon lands and castles. His name was Sir Hiatt. He was Norse.
