Chicago Gun Ordinance Ruled Unconstitutional - The Wire
While Chang acknowledged the city's notorious problem with gun violence, he wrote that, "Chicago's ordinance goes too far in outright banning legal buyers and legal dealers from engaging in lawful acquisitions and lawful sales of firearms."

I think it's been about 80 years since the last Republican mayor. Not good for either party to rule that long.| Permalink

The time was that we would ride the Greyhound up there, spend a couple dayson a long weekend, run all over the loop and never felt in danger. This was 45_48 years ago. Today I won't even drive to within 40 miles of the downtown area. It's a war zone after dark..| Permalink
