Lessee... Killed by a totally random accident, not meant to happen, makes it OK to eat...

Not to out-gross the PETAverts,, but I keep thinking of some of these horrendous traffic fatalities... Of course, since they're not "innocent animals" but Humans, PETA would likely be there (with their bibs on and forks at the ready)... after all, they weren't deliberately slaughtered, either...

And Yes, I apologize in advance for this comment. Indeed, it IS awful... but not unlike most PETAvertish propaganda...

Roadkill is legal to take up here. By the time I'm willing to try it, there won't be anything driving to kill anything on the road.

So, relative to demand, there is a very limited quantity of "road kill," even if it could be gathered up before it was maggot infested. Who would get such a limited supply? Why, I'm guessing the elites since the masses couldn't be justified in having such a valuable resource wasted upon them.

The most ethical meat... really?!? I care about the safest and most efficient way to feed my family in a manner that they will not rebel against. I can only imagine what they would say if I brought home a nice possum or raccoon with fresh tread marks on it. Isn't it amazing how the environmentalists of today resemble the homeless of yesterday.
