What wall? It only goes for a few miles on each side of major crossing points. The rest of the border is open for business.

I was referring to the wall Trump keeps saying he will build.
That's what wall. The yet to exist wall across the Mexican border that should have been built many years ago.
And maybe it won't ever be built.

We don't need walls we need a fence. A fence as the poets wrote keep neighbors honest. Walls keep them separated. We refer to our neighbor as 'distant neighbors?' What is that? Vecinos Distante is the actual term. Do you know how many United States exist? Three. We are not the only with a monopoly.

So why do we insist on fucking over our neighbors instead of acting neighborly? Why do we blame them for a South American Product with North American buyers. Get rid of either end the rest disappears. DuuuuuhhhhUUUUHHHHHH. That includes assholes like Morton Downey Junior.

When assigned to one of six towers, I used to watch the friendly fences of a state prison with a 12-guage pump and an AR-15 within easy reach
with way more than enough extra shells and loaded clips. The "fence" was actually two rolls of fences.
The standard operating procedure was to fire one warning shot until the inmate touched the last fence. Then you "shot to stop" for as many times needed.
During the last three of 21 years there were only the front gate and the back gate towers due to an electric fence being built between the towers. (That would not be very PC across from Mexico).
I was on the back gate tower during the two days that the electric fence was "down" as they called it. Nobody was watching the blind spots. That would have given the bluff away.
During my last two years I was on that back gate tower almost all the time due to my experience for operating the only gate that left vehicles in and out.
I also had a reputation for stopping a couple of escapes and once protecting officers by popping a round into the air..

When an escape is successfully stopped, the public never hears about it unless an inmate gets shot..
Just the knowledge of an attempt rattles the locals.
My total of three stopped runners (two were together) stopped themselves before I had to.
I do have a couple of framed commendations hanging in the house. We call them "attaboy letters."

I am growing increasingly skeptical of Trump. It would appear that in his view the Constitution is subject to negotiation. I find that very troubling as that position is not significantly different from that held by Obama.

He's a wolf in sheep's clothing. While I give him his due as an opportunist, at heart, from 20+ years of personal experience, he's a NY moderate (at best) or liberal (at worst) who is capable of lying sincerely and playing a role.

      My 2 bits.

That does it. Trump The Rump and the Trumps are useful one thing and one thing only. Jokes. If that isn't repetition of an evil empire of the left what is? But then it is the day for jokes.
