I watched only the trailer. The stuff he's saying is already coming true. It doesn't require revamping our entire economic system. He is correct that automation is radically transforming the world economy. Anything that can be systematized is getting cheaper. The change is as big as the industrial revolution, and we're living right in the middle of it.

Our goal IMHO should be to allow the change to happen with minimal social upheaval. It sounds like the guy on the video is saying IF we up-end our economic system, then we will see a technological revolution. I say we are seeing a technological revolution, so let's avoid up-ending our economic system.

Prices serve to identify where resources should be allocated. Abolishing such a mechanism (see communist and socialist economies) has proven to be a failure. It matters not that there are sufficient resources, but the allocation of those resources. There are not sufficient resources for everyone to have an unlimited quantity, thus there must be some mechanism to allocate. Foolishness at its worst.

TVP has been brought up here a couple of times before. I haven 't spent alot of time looking at it cuz he 's such a conspiracy nut (9/11 truther, haiti earthquake man made etc) and if you look on his forums - any dissent is censored. Why explore further?

The concept is what matters. Conspiracy buff or not. That in itself is worth exploring. living off the grid, self-sustained and zero taxes, if you know how & where to build ones city / home, is for me, very much worth exploring and implementing. My own VP is already in WIP & I've saved over $30K in taxes ; )
