One thing that came to light in this article runs very contrary to the common portrayal that Bundy wasn't paying the fees. The reality is that Bundy HAD been paying the grazing funds up until the point the BLM decided to alter the terms of the arrangement without telling anyone. Bundy refused to comply with the new rules set forth by the BLM, which not so coincidentally happened to be rules that would have monetarily benefited none other than Democratic Senator and current Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. You know, the guy who rants on and on about OTHER people not releasing their tax returns but who won't release his own.
