Due to the way a recent post of mine went ridiculously out of hand, I am announcing the use of my Twitter “Two Strike Policy” on all of my future Gulch threads.

Any of the following earns a strike

Ad hominem: self explanitory.
Thread hijacking: If you have a major, unrelated point to make, start your own damned thread. If people don't respond to it because you've proved yourself in the Gulch to be a known troll or one-note-samba thumper, *tough*. This does not apply to spinoffs into playful banter.
Trolling: self explanatory, but especially citing known Marxist front groups as legitimate resources.

The first strike earns a warning.

The second strike earns, for the rest of the thread, every post in that thread which the second strike earner makes to be *hidden and down voted*.

I *do* monitor my threads.
