I understand. However, if the merger goes through, customers still have choices, which is my point. the anti-trust BS now re-branded "competition law" has been going on forever with winners and losers picked. this is nothing new. the govt has no place in business.

The whole article is about the use of political affiliation in the determination of merger approval. In that, the customers do not have alternatives.
