Thanks! The American Numismatic Association recently put all 127 years of The Numismatist online for members. It was a long, drawn-out process. The technology was always available (granted that it is better now). The problem was the "orphan works" the articles written by people now dead.

As soon as some heirs got wind that grandfather's or granduncle's article had value, they wanted money they did not earn.

I have published eight or ten feature articles in The Numismatist and 80 monthly feature columns. I happily signed off back in 1997 when this was first proposed.
