57, separated, working. Had classmates in HS who were Rand followers, but heard the pooh-poohing. Never read the book until last year, as more "Atlas is shrugging" comments appeared. I'm appalled by the parallels to current crony capitalism and puzzled by the people who think rational self-interest equates to "f**k all y'all". Looking forward to seeing how this site develops.
