Hi.... I've been tackling Atlas Shrugged as my big summer read--My husband read the book years ago in a high school English class, and said that it made an indelible impression on the way he sees the world. We saw the movie Atlas Shrugged Part 1 last spring, and I knew I had to read the book before Part 2 came out! I am now 3/4 of the way through the book, and am at the point where it is getting hard to stop reading. I love the story, and am amazed at how timely it is.... There is something almost prophetic about it.

Hey there Melibee. Glad to have you here. Reading the book for the first time is quite the experience. Keep us posted as to your progress. TIP: Hold on to your seat. If you're 3/4 of the way through, things are about to get INTENSE.

Hi Melibee! Welcome to the Gulch :) Yup, I read "Atlas Shrugged" in early spring of this year, and I absolutely loved it! Near the end, I just couldn't put the book down. It definitely helps me look at things with different perspectives.
