You are right. There is so much that is unworkable and illogical that the Progressives want to put into place that it does take a lot of faith in order to believe any of that stuff will work.

Your right...environ[mental]ism is the new made up religion no different than Giaia and islam...in a sense, so is progressiveism.

It's always a struggle when accepted knowledge is proved wrong, or different. Also, I believe recent DNA studies are pointing to the probability that Neaderthalis Erectus was just as intelligent as Cro-Magnon. Why one succeeded and the other didn't is yet to be explained, since it appears that Neaderthal was stronger and more robust.

Humans can be downright stupid at times. More so than animals. It's a matter of the higher they climb the further they can fall.

Environmentalism is the chief hippocracy of our time. When people cannot sustain the downright silliness of religion they turn to the environment as their new religion, twisting and modeling the facts to conform to what they want to believe.

Interesting, and there is no doubt that all life seems to evolve over time for SOME reason. Not sure what it is, and maybe someday we will figure it out. Doubtful its some sort of mythical all knowing and all powerful and all controlling creature tht suposedly inhabits space somewhere- and is something that we should pay attention to.

Spot on Herb...that's why the left wants us to devolve, evolving scares the hell out of them because they can't compete.
Evolution within species is not about fitness, it simply shows us that the weak will perish and your absolutely correct to point out that mankind, out of mutuality perhaps and many not so good reasons, as well, have perpetuated species, plants and some human conditions beyond what nature itself would have allowed.
