Asteriod 2013 TX68 nearby March 8
CNEOS's new prediction for 2013 TX68 is that it will fly by roughly 3 million miles (5 million kilometers) from our planet. There is still a chance that it could pass closer, but certainly no closer than 15,000 miles (24,000 kilometers) above Earth's surface.

Thanks for the post. Science is warming up (pun intended) to the idea that the younger dryus period was caused by a comet splitting up an pelting Canada to Syria. See: what formed the scab lands in Washington state.

Thanks for the mention of the Washington scablands. Fascinating history online of discovery of the forces behind its formation.

Don't go against mainstream sciences theories like global warming or gradualism or you'll be discredited. What was then is still now.
Freedomforall thanks for the link, an amazing landscape created by a cataclysmic event.J Harlan Bretz the geologist who first proposed
The massive flood was belittled , discredited
and called a fool because science had decided to distance themselves from any great flood in the past. This a is similar reaction to anyone providing evidence that questions "global warming".
If you are interested in reading more on this continuing story of what caused the flood and the ridicule a fairly strong group of scientists whom are likely to prevail read Magicians of the Gods
