The question I have with these sting operations is always the same. Would they have sought a bribe if the FBI hadn't offered it? Did the accused solicited the bribe or take one that was offered.
In one sense it doesn't matter, he allegedly accepted it and bribery is bribery. There is an ever so slight difference between the two.
