Lindsey Graham: 'My Party Has Gone Batshit Crazy'

Sen. Lindsey Graham is disgusted with the GOP's embrace of Donald Trump: "My party has gone batshit crazy." Well, I would say turnabout is fair play, the RNC and associated idiots have been Batsh@t crazy for the last 3 elections or so. Maybe the Republicrat voters are just fed up with the imperial families who run both parties and want to dictate their policies and laws to us, and then hand us the bill on top of it. No thanks, to all of them. BS crazy is ok if it means cutting them down even a little.

"he just shoots himself in the foot. I have to wish someone would just get the balls up to tell him he looks like an idiot."
Yes. Usually it's best to let those people self-destruct rather than explain to them or others that he looks like an idiot. As you say, it's not working here. If you want to see someone tear Trump apart, John Oliver made him look like a stupid huckster: https://youtu.be/DnpO_RTSNmQ

Regarding the his failure to respond to the white supremacist comment, if he were generally reluctant to condemn people, I would just think the question caught him off guard and he was too polite to respond off-hand. Turmp, however, is not someone afraid to be rude. It makes people wonder if he agrees with racists or at least wants their votes.

I don't know for sure, but I do think he resonates with some who have checked out, if just because they want to throttle most politicians and Trump seems willing to do it. Maybe they don't consider he may be the biggest gasbag yet to make an appearance in politics?

In deed, he just shoots himself in the foot. I have to wish someone would just get the balls up to tell him he looks like an idiot. Nikki Haley was his latest victim, and she took it well "Bless your heart", not considered a good thing down south. But, Truman was not known for his personality either...

"I am not going to reject anyone"
Trump has no problem rejecting people for petty reason. If he had wanted to, he knows how to take petty cheap shots at people.

that's the last place you would see most of the 46% going. those are people who deal in reality not in fairy tales. and they are not going to in any large part vote for a the sickness that stole their country and drove them into the 46%

But isnt Objectivism a theory about the nature of the universe? How would one check it against reality except by observing how it worked in practice

Desperate attempts at control to try to "fix" problems they have known about for 20 years. However, the Obamanation has surpassed anything Bushy Boy did, he has been an outright racist, manipulative, thief. Obamacare is a disaster, more people cannot afford health care now, and it gave the Irresponsible Revenue Scum another thing to add to the already insane thing called "taxes". There was a hue and cry about how they lied to get OC rammed through, yet Felony Pelosi continued unabated, and is now scott free. I would say our government has successfully sucked a pure vacuum the last 16 years. Most people are afraid it will just go on until collapse. The rest hope it will go on and continue to be manipulated to give them more free stuff, and then bitch when the bill comes due.

Agreed, like most of the media, Trump is the new Bull Elephant to shoot. The NYT thing is another desperate grab by Cruz and Rubio to engender support. Maybe they should try something beyond the same 10 or 12 lines.

So whats wrong with pragmatism when it comes to dealing with a statist government. One takes the least bad thing when only two choices are available. Unless I missed something, John Galt is not running and if he were, he wouldnt be elected in this culture right now.

The problem is that we will suffer the effects of ONE of them for sure in Jan 2017. Which one is worst is the question. Which one will cost us all more, and take away more of our freedoms. We just disagree on that point I think. It would appear only Trump has a chance of getting the Repub nomination, no matter what we think. It would appear hildebeast is going to get the democratic nomination. Hildebeast might crash and burn before the election if the media doesnt protect her. Trump might also C and B before the election if the haters somehow can decimate him.

I hope indeed she dies of the multitude of self inflicted wounds.. But, she has so much money from her "crony supporters", and she has the media to keep things quiet- I dont think its over yet. Today will tell us a lot

Rational discussion with you regarding Trump is not possible. You offer his worst qualities as a defense, or deflect the question with lamentations of Hillary winning. Trump is Poison. Hillary is Poison. Bernie is delusional.

I'm not concerned with her winning anymore. She is 'dying' of self inflicted wounds. And the day will come when it's better for her to contrive a 'medical issue' than face the public humiliation that result from her legal problems. If she doesn't face charges, then the '60's could look like a picnic for the U.S.

How were the previous 8 years for our country? Patriot Act, two useless wars and an economic near-collapse that helped make Obama's victory possible.

I agree... "I'm not going to tell anyone not to vote for me, but I don't condone the activities of white supremacist or hate groups".

Unfortunately, I'm sure that was probably the 15th interview of the morning and he is probably going 20 hours a day right now at least, its easier said than done... Its not a fair point of criticism, all politicians have momentary gaffes. I still remember GW Bush walking away from an event where some reporter crashed and was just assailing him with BS and as he was walking away, he didn't realize his wireless mic was still on - "What an asshole" is all he said. Of course, that is all that played on the news, but the guy was being an asshole.

That is ok. It is your opinion and I respect it. Now, how has the last 7 + years been for our country? You really don't need to reply.
    Thanks for your comment.

The Primary rules are rigged in so many ways to make sure a 3rd party cannot get a majority, Oregon just shuts out Independents, and you get 0 input on who is selected. I am sure other states are similarly rigged.

Maybe, but there is a large group that sits out the elections now, because they cannot support either. I am afraid Trump will scare more off then he brings in.
