Is it really surprising that the progressives who support this thievery don't understand how small business or taxes work? If they were successful entrepreneurs then they'd be on the other side

Just shows that the yahoos (not Yahoo!) who are running the asylum called DC do NOT have a F'in clue about how this country actually runs. I have been there in the past and Drudge is right about the quarterly filing. The Dirty City crew is just out of touch with the average American and it shows in their policies.

I think I'd call it something else, like Serf tax, sheep tax, sheep shearing Tax,

Or perhaps just what it is - No Free Lunch Tax. Somebody always pays.

Why am I not surprised? It shows that his attackers have no concept of how small businesses work. They drink the administration Kool-Aid and apparently don't even KNOW anyone in their circle of friends that can counteract the misinformation due to being personally impacted. I can see them now..."Quarterly taxes? What are those? You only pay once a year. Idiot!"

For anyone needing more confidence in Drudge being correct on this point, you can refer to the 1040-ES form here: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040es.p...
You will see this form itself refers the reader to "Publication 505" for further direction. That publication is here: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p505.pdf
Search for the phrase "health care" and you'll see what Drudge is talking about. Though the publication talks about filing taxes in the year 2015 for the prior year 2014, the self-employed and small business have to pay ahead with quarterly payments, lest they be further penalized.
