Not to condone or in any way approve of what this man did, make no mistake he should be severely punished or even executed for this,but isn't this just s symptom of a lop-sided right to choose?

Seriously, he offered to pay for her abortion and even setup an appointment. It was obvious that they both knew he didn't want a life with this woman in it. She lopsidedly chose to keep this child, involuntarily committing him (personally and financially) to a life with her in it to some degree or another, and the law offered absolutely no alternative.

Again, I'm not seeking to condone his actions, nor do I make any excuses for this barbarism.I hope he fries (or get as along jail sentence as NY law allows).

The choice, as I've stated here many times, was whether to have sex or not and to use contraceptive or not, it should never have been anyones option to murder. Two adults acted irresponsibly and now a child is dead, a woman is traumatized for life, and a man's life is over.
