freedom, thanks. I was reading an article I found last night showing how you can try Linux and the guy had Cinnamon 2.4 for his desktop (I guess they have a lot of flavors of desktops you can use). It actually seemed a lot easier than when I played with Linux in class, where I got quickly overwhelmed by "tarballs" and other strange terms they were using. Seems like some of the Linux groups have made some really simple methods available. I wonder how their drivers for devices fare... I am getting really dismayed with the amount of energy MS is putting into forcing this issue. Apparently they believe they will direct you to where they want you to be and make money off ads and redirects.
