Well that IS the entire problem... the parents and local boards are left out of the decision making..it's all big gov and UN (and effing Bill Gates) backing this mass collectivist, funnel of herded young brains, one size fits all agenda. My grandson is already getting his brain scrambled in kindergarten from what I've seen on the homework he's starting to bring home. I need to check further. We just received an 8 page newspaper from the school district touting Common Core but the Michigan State Legislature voted not to fund Common Core implementation. Time to get involved and attend school board meetings again.

This is what is required to defeat this mess. I think I may actually get actively involved in this at our local level. I'm as qualified as anybody. I like to say, "I know a great deal about very little."
