I got a http://Change.org petition to pardon this guy, who seems to have actually tried to stand in the way of one of the Obamanations crazier stunts. The real issue is compared to HillaryBeast, to have the below statement from Holder, is just a damning piece of proof in just how corrupt and manipulative this administration is:
“This is a just and appropriate outcome,” Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said. “The defendant’s unauthorized disclosures of classified information compromised operations undertaken in defense of America’s national security. The disclosures placed lives at risk. And they constituted an egregious breach of the public trust by someone who had sworn to uphold it. As this verdict proves, it is possible to fully prosecute unauthorized disclosures that inflict harm upon our national security without interfering with journalists’ ability to do their jobs.”

I haven't dug into all the background, but this whole thing should be something to show just how bad and malicious the government can be when you do not comply. Very scary.

Talk about "a just and appropriate outcome" for Fast and Furious, Mr. Holder.
Not only were there "lives at risk," people got killed stupidly.
Life without parole strikes my as "a just and appropriated outcome."

There is so much red meat in this story that it should have made front pages instead of the electoral Kabuki theater.
Mrs. Clinton should be forced to read it. Eric Holder should be jailed for this and other crimes. And this poor schmuck put into a witness protection program.

I can think of a number of names where "just and appropriate outcome" would have been more needed. I have no real issue with whistleblowers, when they are letting people who should know, know. On the other hand, the various acts of Hillary, Obama, Holder, McCain, Bush Sr., there is a lot of dirt there still swept under the rug. If you are a one worlder, you get a pass, there is no illegal. I am sick of it.

Seems to be a common and reoccuring problem with the Times going back at least to the sixties.

Question....If Holder is correct then why is his successor giving Hillary a pass for the EXACT same thing?

Me thinks the new AG needs a name change.

To do double duty I don't expect anything from the civilian government least of all honoring their sworn oath of office which probably had fingers crossed and consisted of F this S.

I dug this out of the times, they just dutifully reported it when it happened. Amazing the Post didn't scream a Op Ed on it, as it seemed to be pretty bizarre even then, I am not sure when the HiallaryBeast email thing broke.

Insert "Bush" for "Obama" and "John Ashcroft" for "Eric Holder" and see if it reads any differently for you.

In the US Military, an officer takes an Oath to the Constitution. Should we expect any less from anyone in the civilian government?

Not disagreeing with your point, just the fact that at this moment there is a huge disparity. That disparity should be shouted so maybe some sheeple would wake up to the danger these guys present. And, he was a black man prosecuted by a black man and a black president, don't Black Lives Matter? Hypocrites and corrupt scum all the way around. The Republicraps could take this and make a powerful case, if they were just a couple ticks up the IQ scale.

Somebody will come along and blame this on the other party....some true believer who can't face the reality of a one party system and still believes in fairy tales and monsters under the bed..

        "Republicraps could take this "
But the Republicans don't want the Dems to prosecute the similar wrongs of the GOP, so they won't.
I agree with your point, nick. Government must not be allowed to play favorites to further its own goals (or goals of those who corrupt them.)

Thank you, and you are also correct, both parties have such huge numbers of skeletons rattling, they don't want to do anything remotely moral, and lose the opportunity to showcase the hypocrisy as it may shine back on theirs. And therein is the problem, a closed loop system with no corrective feedback loop, doomed to spin out of control until it implodes.

He was a looter working at the CIA who apparently whined about racial injustice.

On one hand, if you can't stand the heat, don't work in the kitchen. If you lie with dogs expect to get fleas, etc.
On the other hand, I'd like to know if anyone was harmed by anything they can prove he actually did. The administration has not given me much reason to think they care about justice
