Money capitalism and the gold standard

A free thinking, and abundant society is built off the mutual exchange of goods and services. Capitalism, for the first time in history, leveled the playing field away from ‘dignitaries’, and allowed all men to become equal and trade goods and services between each other.

    If we were still on the gold standard, you couldn't just print it up and devaluate it, and cause hyperinflation. My GLD stock is sure looking nice lately though.

    That is why the Fed needs to get out of the business of quantitative easing, and the money we use should be backed by something of real value.
