Atlas Shrugged Part 1 VS Part 2

I think it's time for the Gulch to discuss which Atlas Shrugged movie they preferred.

Personally I proffered part 2 because of the bigger budget and I liked Samantha Mathis as Dagny Taggart. It also felt like a Hollywood movie and not a TV movie.

Which movie do you prefer?

    I liked Dagny and Eddie better in the first film, but Rearden and Fransisco better in the second.

    Eddie Willers turned into Morpheus in the second film, which was kind of weird.

    Also, did anyone else feel like Ellis Wyatt reminded them of Donald Trump? Cuz' that's essentially the attitude I got from his character in the first film (he didn't appear in the second).

    No your opinion is popular. It' s just this post has been done several times. Whose the better Dagny or Hank. Part III has a different director with his own thoughts on how the movie should look. We'll have to wait... Scott has told us we 'll love Galt. He didn't say anything about Dagny. I liked I better than II myself. That's also popular. It's about an even split in the gulch. This last movie is all Galt in my opinion. He needs to nail it.

    I know my opinion is probably not that popular, but I feel that if we discuss what we liked and didn't like about the past two movies, part 3 will have a higher chance of being great.
