An Objectivist love song: "Falling" live performance

Hi Gulchers. This is a video of me from several years ago that I'd like to share here. Among other talents and efforts, I'm a composer and songwriter. I don't have a goal to be a singer songwriter--please have low expectations on the singing! But I was willing to put myself out of my comfort zone to share this. Below are the lyrics for the song. What's your reaction to this as a love song that I believe should appeal to Objectivists and our values?

Falling
By Brett Mukherjee Hoffstadt ©2001

I came into your life
Like rain hits a flower
You came into my life
Like pain has no power
I wanted to be all alone, myself
Falling away from it all, small
Then I fell into your arms

We know how rain can make us feel
when it's cold
Although I say I know what's real
I've been told
I'm missing too much of the world, the now
Watching my tears hit the ground, drowned
Then I saw one had been found

(Instrumental)

I came into your life
Like rain hits a flower
You came into my life
Like pain has no power
I wanted to be all alone, myself
Falling away from it all, small
Then I fell into your arms

I haven't made a professional or commercial version of this song yet. Thanks for all honest feedback and impressions. Consider this some market research. ;-) If I were to make a second album I would want to put this one on it. My first album was all instrumental music except for a bonus track. It's called "Preludes & Reflections" which you can find on Amazon, iTunes, or CD Baby here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/BrettHoffstadt
