You're parents where very wise . Yes. I have seen the gun stuff in action, and false restraining orders makes you a criminal, again without facts and can prevent you from passing a background investigation for a gun permit, or a job or....... Justice is supposed to be blind, not stupid.

My mom was extremely bitter after her divorce from my dad, but never inserted that into a custody battle. My dad never said a bad thing about my ever, though. VERY different personalities.... I was never made to feel that I was somehow a piece of property to be fought over, either.

I see this as a HUGE problem in the debates over gun control here, though. A spouse claims abuse in some form, and wham! bye bye permit/guns....

Do you have any idea how many women accuse the ex, or soon to be ex of molesting the child to have a defacto property and/or custody settlement? The man is totally destroyed with only allegations and no facts. It's totally criminal.

My idea of divorce and child custody is: I hate you. You hate me. You take your sh*t and go away, I'll take mine. The children will be shared 50/50 and they will never see that we hate each other. Of course I'm single and have no children so what do I know.

This is one of the most troubling things I've read recently. The fact that the ex-wife still has such sway over the lives of her grown sons and their father speaks volumes about the discrepancy between reality, and the delusions of a bitter ex. That any court would engage in these jackboot tactics is frightening, to say the very least.
I truly hope for the sake of all Britons, these activities cease.
