Unless the Patent Office has changed its mind in the last 50 years, they automatically reject patent claims of "perpetual motion". The claim would violate the first and second laws of thermodynamics. Basically these laws assert that you cannot get more energy out than you put in. Someone in the video says that the Searl device should run forever. It cannot do so if it powering itself and lighting a lamp as shown. I remember the Rube Goldberg cartoons of my childhood.

This is impossible. In order to extract energy from heat you need two heat sources at different temperatures. In a state of thermodynamic equilibrium, there are no net flows of matter or of energy, no phase changes, and no unbalanced potentials (or driving forces), within the system.

The magnetic hot iron core in the center of the earth creates a magnetic field that causes a Electrogravitic flux between fields with in space. No one fuels the earth's core to create the north pole and south pole of + and - that makes motors work on magnetic field, it is a natural event like rare earth that absorbs magnetism. That force in the magnet, the field, and the motion can be used that same way at a smaller scale. If that were not so, then the earth would stop turning, and we would have no force in Gs keeping us from floating into space.

If this violates the rules of thermodynamics, then so does the electromagnetic generators that create electricity by simply passing a rare earth neodymium magnet passed coils of wire to move electrons through the wire. When balanced fields cause movement, it is by mechanical forces not self perpetuation. The earth moves in a balance magnetic field which makes it spin. The superconductive effects of even ceramics during super cooling creates a monopole magnetic effect. This is the same thing using rare earth magnetic and electrogravitation by current along the plates. Like the B2, it is fly by wire technology. This is the same technology that CERN uses in particle acceleration. Eventually the rare earth magnet will draw down and need to be replaced the same way that they do in hydroelectric generators. So how this violates the law of physics is beyond me even when tested in France and published in the AAAS journal showing that these fields can be used to generate current. This is not perpetual motion, just a different type of field generator that converts mechanical force into electromagnetic motor movement. Like any motor, if used to break fields of force, with a coil, electric is produced.
