Am I the only one who uses that book marklet thing? I think I deserve a hat or something for paying attention. (I can't believe I just had the nerve to say that... I'm lost half the time.)

If violence breaks out I want them to start it. If they fire upon a non-violent protest it could spark something I hoped never to witness... I would grant the government the chance to institute a fair tax and repeal completely the income tax. If they tried to institute an additional tax without repeal I could not support it. If they did not abide by the deal and tried to continue to tax income, would there not surely be a revolt?

Yeah I know. There in would lie that big PROMISE! LOL But only if it could happen and be done right. Therefore it can't and won't happen. Not with the scum we have in the front office.
And I meant all of them by that, not either side.
Wish we just had Americans up there.

If we could have the one and rid ourselves of the other, wouldn't it be grand?! We would need a non-violent revolution. An anti- Income tax revolution!

National Sales tax would solve all these problems. No bias whatsoever. you buy something you pay a sales tax. Period. Plus that way everybody contributes. The more money you make/spend the more you would pay in sales tax. It's the only real "fair" system to put in place. Plus no more of people paying in a thousand bucks or so and getting a seven thousand dollar (refund?). In my mind getting back anything more than what you paid in is a gift or handout.

    RE: "Gulch bookmarklet" what's that?"
It's a little bookmark button that you add to your browser that makes posting quicker and more accurate.

RE: "How would that keep me from creating typos as my fingers fly through a title for a post?"
If fills in the Gulch submission form automatically. It takes the actual article title, or page title, and populates the submission form's title field. It'll also grab whatever text you have highlighted on the page and throw it into the notes section.

It's super easy to use. Go to your account settings and you'll see instructions for adding it to your browser. Give it a shot and let me know if you run into any trouble.

Great article. Interesting that the people who get the most benefits of the tax are the people who don't pay any.

Why aren't you using the Gulch bookmarklet k? It makes adding to the Gulch much simpler and is less prone to error.
