I don't know what his views are but Timothy Olyphant would be a good fit imo. Fits the part physically and he has played a few different characters. Like the show Justified he is in now.

Sorry, I don't really pay attention to actors' political leanings or affiliations - so don't come down on me too hard when I suggest: Matthew McConaughey

No brainer, Rowan Atkinson. But if he is not available my second choice would be George Bush.

Jim Caviezel. But whoever it is should fit the John Gult in his values displayed in Atlas Shrugged. This is not just a movie it is should move the movie goer that this is the world as it should be. Passion of the Christ and Braveheart are such movies. This is what I want to see and hear in Atlas Shrugged. Call to action.

almost anybody would be better than the let down we had in the change of actors from I to II. The original cast was best, find a Galt that fits who is tall and can act. Liberals need not apply!

Gary and Jim are both good but just think for a minute before dismissing the choice.
    Dennis Miller

Jim Caviezal is the ONLY choice. He would get it right and he commands attention.

Someone who lives his life with consistency and respect. He seems to portray the same in his onscreen roles - Like Hugh Jackman ?

I was really thinking of Clint Eastwood, but then again Jim Caviezel would probably be best. This is a tough one.

I would like to see Jim Caveziel, think he could really pull it off, has that magnetism and persuasifness. And the just right demeanor.

I would like to see someone who can express the philosophy in film and perhaps has done so in real life. Oliphant could pull it off. Dennis Miller probably too old but could kick-----..

Jim Caviezel (from Person of Interest) has the cool, calm demeanor that I see in John Galt.

Harrison Ford would be good. Not necessarily for his politics but that rugged seasoned character he so often plays. Rand Paul could also be worth looking at as well.
