Ryan debate and Ayn Rand

I am very much looking forward to this upcoming VP debate. For the first time since 'Atlas Shrugged' was released as a novel there is a politician debating that loves the book so much that he gives it to people for Christmas presents. That small fact gives me great hope that Ryan will clean the clock of Joe Biden. And I don't mean in a small way. If I were Ryan and had read 'Atlas Shrugged' as many times as he has, I'd be licking my chops for a chance on such a large stage to eradicate a political looter. I have very high hopes.
If Ryan has read The virtues of selfishness and Capitalism, the unknown ideal (currently reading this one myself) he should clean the clock, but with just Atlas you are really getting a good taste, but not getting deep enough to truly incorporate it into your life.
While not written by Ayn Rand, The book Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand is a very good read. Leonard Peikoff, the author has a little different writting style that I found a bit more dry than Rand's and more difficult to get through in some areas. It was still a very worthwhile read.
I too have high hopes for the debate and am looking forward to watching it. I will miss the first third of it, as i will be finishing up a commitment to my church with the young men, but plan to watch the other 40 minutes, hopefully a bit more than that.
