Oh well. We tried to explore the common 'conspiracy theories' & put across a balanced view. We're very familiar with how corrupt Monsanto are SUPPOSED to be. The GM vid (of British origin) is in my opinion, investigative without being accusatory as such.

While I controlled most of the content of the website, it was edited & sometimes reworded by an American friend who lives in London.

Well I may have to launch something similar but possibly under a different name. UFO was great (when it was great) but it was hard work. We had loyal followers who donated each month but... every month I had to pick up the remaining tab for the hire of the hall we used. Reckon If I do it again, I'll start a kind of 'ramblers club'. We'll walk somewhere idyllic but free, then have a talk. I quite like that idea.

I reckon the UK water companies would sooner not have to bother with fluoridation as it's a serious upheaval they can do well without. All that extra equipment needed to ensure that every household gets exactly 14.4 ppm of fluoride (or whatever the dose is). Whatever! We stopped drinking tap water last year. Instead we drink high alkalinity mineral water & we've felt a lot better since. A lot less colds & bugs - & coffee made using mineral water... WOW.

I wonder where I heard that. It's probably even more insidious. All the filter companies lobby the govt to do it as well.

Ps. Regarding UFO, it'sa shame it came to an end when it did. We had quite a following. I remember the entire back row of one meeting being filled with local UKIP representatives... BIG LOL, I loved that. They were really taken with us for a while but that got ruined when someone wanted to do a talk on 'permaculture' & how everyone should give up driving & ride bicycles. Of course the place was filled - with his supporters, many of them no doubt eager to give a talk themselves, on the plight of the Mbongobongo beeswax eating mugwump from the Congo & how it faced extinction & it was all Capitalism's fault. That's about the time I wrapped it up.

That's bullshit. People get their teeth done all the time. Admittedly it takes a lot of fluoride to have a seriously detrimental effect on the body but I don't trust any government that 'insists' on fluoridating the water when, as you say, there's already enough fluoride in toothpaste. The problem is, as I understand it, the stuff they put in the water is NOT pharmaceutical grade, but the waste product of the aluminium industry (hexafluorosilicic acid). I dread to think what other toxic shit is in that.

Well you can either fight them every time they come back or be silent.... some how we have been taught, and then accepted, the idea that raising a stink, no matter what the reason, makes you look bad BUT reality is...NOT raising a stink just plain makes you BAD and part of the problem. So all we can do is keep throwing cows!

it sounds like it was a sweet little grassroots beginning-too bad the greenies overwhelmed it. I think you could have nipped that in the bud though by declaring that all the materials you provided were compliments of a brazilian rain forest. and that you were for a neighborhood incinerator. toothpaste is full of fluoride. turns out, where we raised our children, there was unusually high concentrations of naturally occuring fluoride and they fluoridated it anyway! the US is big on fluoridating water. We filtered the water. I read once that the Brits do not allow their citizens to cosmetically change their teeth. Is that true? or some silly myth?

A few years ago I co-ran a monthly meeting called UFO (Underground Film Organisation). It was a catchy name. It's purpose was to open people's eyes to some of the shit going on in the world, who's behind it & how it would eventually affect us. One particular meeting we covered the subject of water fluoridation. I seem to remember a proposal to begin fluoridating water in Hampshire - my neighbouring county (some bloody politician had actually parachuted into the grounds of a water purification plant. Accompanied by the local media, she as good as thrust a bunch of papers under the nose of the company director). The problem is, my county's water supply comes from Hampshire. There were huge protests & on this particular occasion, the people won. The fluoride problem is like the Irish referendum. The entire country could turn out & tell the pro fluoride government lobbyists to FUCK.......OFF!!!!!!! but they keep coming back & coming back & coming back ad infinitum until they get the answer they want. They might leave it for five years or so but they'll be back. When you consider fluoride was used in Auschwitz to dumb down the prisoners of war, those wankers NEED bullets in their heads!

Now if only they could listen. We keep telling them, but it seems we aren't being heard.
