The conspiracy theory of HAARP reminds me a lot of Project X from Atlas Shrugged. Two times now, Obama has been rescued a bit by weather events. Interesting..............or just a coincidence?

HAARP has nothing to do with weather, and everything to do with top secret work which I would be glad to tell you about, but then I would have to kill you as the old saying goes in the military. Aurora has ions, and if bouncing ions off the atmosphere could change the weather, then all the short wave radio stations would have caused enough devastation to kill us all over the last 60 years. That's the thing about conspiracy THEORIES, they are based on uneducated non-connected ideas that have no bases in science fact. These bosoms and loose electrons are in our air and environment around us, and any research to bring them together to produce a energy field is no different than lightening striking in a thunder storm. See http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=Mjf... and you may begin to understand what HAARP is all about. But I doubt it unless you are able to understand some minor physics and know what HAARP is doing to start with. I know what it is, and learned about it in the military, and will not tell you because if you knew, you would tell our enemies and then they would have a means by knowledge to stop the research at the facility and that would be a lose to mankind with far reaching implications.

Don't forget that at one time the earth being round was a bizarre theory. I'm just saying. Besides, China & Russia have some interesting things going on too.

I saw that same thing! I was looking for that footage, but it didn't turn up. There are an astonishing number of people who believe these things, they are just afraid to admit to it until someone else brings it up. I think it says more about the lack of trust we have in government than the tendency to believe a bizarre theory out of need for fantastic realities as some form of social evasion.

I remember watching some google map weather video right after Sandy and the lady narrating kept saying something like..."look! there's some more sonic UNdulation. Do you see it?? Do you see the UNdulation??" It got kinda weird...plus I couldn't see whatever her cursor was supposed to be pointing at....reminded me of getting a ultrasound and having the tech point out limbs and stuff and not being able to make out ANY of it.

no, a person's intelligence while a member of a political party has an impact on the political party.

this would involve huge amounts of power. HUGE. the jetstream is at the highest, 16km. lol-I'm looking this up-I didn't know this beforehand. the ionosphere is up at 350km. it i inefficient to be messing around all the way up there to effect something much closer to the earth's surface. I am not suggesting that we aren't looking at affecting weather patterns-but I am saying this solution is inefficient and so would not be focused on. Most logical answer to this "method" is likely-I want to project my radar in the middle of the pacific ocean when my satellite is knocked out, and I don't have an aircraft nearby. I bounce my radar off the ionosphere which allows me to see ships or planes I could not directly see with my radar otherwise. this seems the most obvious. I looked this up to, btw, I am no expert in this area.

Not the dems. Plus, you have to go that high to influence the Jet Stream. That would impact the weather in most of the Northern Hemisphere.

interesting read, overman. But I have some questions.
1.there are legitimate reasons for this kind of study such as over the horizon radar. why look for zebras?
    2. clouds are at 18km. The ionosphere is at 350km. this seems a shitty, inefficient way to affect weather. what mechanism do you believe could cause the weather to change? doesn't add up for me
    3. I do not see the dems being smart enough to pull high tech solutions off. you do?

I have thought the same thing overman. There are no coincidences. If you can control the weather you can control the battle. If you control the battle you control the war.

As for whistleblowers, it takes a brass pair, they can always be discredited or disappeared.
