"For those who think Ayn Rand was just crazily overwrought in the "unrealistic" characters she created to dramatize the anti-capitalist mentality, you might want to see this addendum to the Kickstarter page of comic artist John Campbell, who raised over $50,000 on Kickstarter to publish a book of his comics Sad Pictures for Children."

Just a few years past and people would have been able to sic the post office on him for mail fraud. He has admitted he is not honoring his promise to mail the copies out. Nowadays I don't think the p.o. cares or bothers to follow up on consumer complaints. Indicative of all federal agencies, considering just today the news finally broke that border agents are not to shoot at drug trafficking vehicles, etc. It is a kinder, gentler, more stupid, greedier, lazier, self-absorbed, not-my-problem, who gives a rat's ass, I got mine and I want yours, nation. yay.

No, he doesn't. He can pretend to have them because he is isolated from reality by the Internet. In reality, he would have had to deal with my Smith&Wesson for being a fraud. Oh, wait, not with mine, since I grew up long time ago and would not be stupid enough to support/donate to such a "project" in the first place.

In all fairness, he said he would gives his supporters to someone else when he no longer needed them.

I know. I stopped visiting their site a year ago. They've got smart writers, but their liberal bias is just too much to stomach for me.

Imagine him 50,000 years ago asking his fellow hunter-gatherers to give him a share because he wants to just think and maybe sometimes to insult them. Knowing what would happen next just brings a smile to my face.

Here's a prime example of a twisted psycho-epistemology. His comics are sick, too. But if he took the Kickstarter money, he is guilty of breach of contract and is trying to worm his way out of it. What a pathetic human being, a man with no honor.

Starving artist only because he does not wish to live up to his own commitments... Grow up John.
