Of course but then like WS just found out and you can go read those same laws it's a done deal except for direct access and that's next.

Votes for sale and Free Speech for sale right up in the New Section. Unlike some other posts all the detail and sources you want or need.

However it's exactly what is being done with this vote buying scheme Supreme Court or no Supreme Court and they ain't done yet by golly gumdrops.

Their motto is "I have the right without explanation to take all of your rights without exception."

Not only that but openly published the plan in their operations manual. Who? Secular Progressive extremist of the socialist party (formerly Democrat Party.)

That thread was listed here under Votes for Sale Free Speech for sale just a few days ago with complete resources and sites and cites. It's more than a wrong it's a Supreme court sanctioned usurption of our rights plural by the fascists of the left. And it's all out in the open.

Eh...not sure that example applies - buying votes. However, they do buy laws. Buying laws often is a great example of this quote. Votes aren't force. Laws are.

How does it not apply although I'm fairly sure voting is a privilege and a responsibility but not a right. Votes, as you correctly observed are no longer a force but do provide some thing for SNL and an excuse - since they are controlled and since they can be bought are definitely not free speech.

Yeah, but to take our rights without exception... That's buying laws. And THAT certainly happens a lot. I've seen it up close and personal here in California. And, the purchase of law IS the purchase of force.

So, if all those votes are being bought, how do I get my money. No one has ever paid me to vote -- I even thought it was illegal to be paid to vote.

The only way my vote can be bought is if you pay me for it. If you give some candidate money to run television ads it certainly isn't going to buy my vote.

Used to be didn't you cui bono the sites, cites, and sources? The last step will make direct contributions to candidates and managers of initiatives legal.

No they aren't going to pay everybody. Your vote isn't worth anything - except of course with the usual pork they have been using to buy your vote for decades. Your vote and mine with no real choices possible is....worth....nothing. Especially if you flush it down the toilet voting for the other side.

Which means, you as a citizen are worth nothing. Me I'm joining the counter revolution No Seig Heiling for me. I do not serve the party but I do want to see it destroyed.

So what you are saying is that my small corporation should be forbidden from advertising or otherwise supporting candidates that would further our goals. That the government should forbid us to speak out on issues because somehow our doing so takes away your rights? Even though everyone is perfectly able to make up their own minds what to listen to and decide who to vote for?

Are you intentionally redefining this in error? It isn't rocket science. What it says is and pay attention. You may not gain one right by taking the rights plural of others. You may not do that by any methods. However if you small corporation can afford to cross five or six state boundaries and fiddle with the another local elections where you have no interest guess what the Supreme court says you can do that.Of course if we want to screw over your town and your corporations interests or that of your family or your own using our LLC non profit PAC that is also perfectly fine. So next tim that happens don't bitch you got what you asked for. Moreover the requirement for using those circuitous methods will soon be changed and our big corporations owners can wander into your little town where they have no interest and gain access directly for any reason that floats their boat. Going to be especially aggravating since my corporations is in another country. But we work through an LLC non profit PAC at present and later will just chat up your opponent directly. That is the present law and the future of it. Don't like it? Tough. Read the cites and sources. It's a done deal your a few years to late.

Your use of the word 'fiddle' is an ill defined pejorative. It implies improper action without specifying what action that you consider improper.

We do sell our product far beyond our local area so we have theoretical interests and expertise in our field.

The action is to support candidates that further our views. We could be funding objectivist candidates for all you know. Actually we don't fund anyone because we don't have the money to do so.

What bothers me is that you consider a person or corporation providing support to the candidate of their choice as taking away your rights. What right do you lose if candidate A has more funds?

Now you are fiddling. Your argument certainly does support taking improper actions without caring the action is improper. Sorry if interfering stealing, fixing, buying in another location doesn't work how about seizing, pirating or looting Trouble is all of that is now legal. Ergo sum votes are now a joke useful only for SNL material. I'm using terms that would have been valid prior to the Supreme Court declaring votes are a commercial product and so are politicians.

I don't like it I consider it immoral but then I wasn't able to buy the right judges. So none of those perjoratives except direct contact apply. And that's next up to bat.

In the meantime I shall legally offer my vote for sale. Which election did you have in mind? There is a registration fee to be considered then it depends on the measure or candidate? If it's hillary there are some cost involved in odor control. If it's trump then you must remember he is 'very expensive.' Isn't the government wonderful? They gave me a nice addition to retirement income. If it's Bernie there are travel expenses.

Come to think of it vote buying and selling now it's a legal commercial product could well be the economic miracle we've all been looking for!

Think no? Think again. I now have the same rights as corporations. ka ching start up costs ka ching overhead ka ching gross profit, ka ching taxes ka ching net profit ...(that would be my cash register.

For practice give me an offer on thumbs. They are a form of voting are they not?

I know what each of those words means. Beyond that, I have no clue what you are talking about.

Make me an offer clueless? I doubt I can vote in your state, city, or country so that leaves the two federal positions. We are both in the advertising stage You want to advertise to buy a product as rolled proper by the Supreme Court. I am advertising to sell that product. Your corporation has the rights of a person but persons have the rights of a corporation. That's the law. How much for President and Vice President? If you are only suggesting then you get squat I'm holding out for a firm bid.

Votes are now commercial products. Or were to go all altruistic on my and ask for a donation of my commercial property. MMMMMmmmm No. Not without a receipt that is usable as a tax deduction.

As the only person who is by now clueless how does it feel up there on your petard?

I'm enjoying the view and I have two thumbs extra now up for bid.
