Maybe it will fail the vote today. (We can hope for that).

The premise is incorrect. The states with out income tax are the least socialist as income tax is primarily a control measure of the government over citizens philosophy. The states with property tax likewise as it turns property ownership into rental property.

Sales Tax on the other hand is the least socialist as the buying decision, thus the tax contributed to the government is a citizen decision to the extent they can afford to buy anything.

I would translate the wording this way.

A reward of a tax break is given to states who have chosen a fascist income tax over an independent choice consumption tax UNLESS the state has all of those taxes in which case they do not need a reward.

As for the Republicans they have earned a higher standard of regaining credibility. We know the left is dirty and there is no hope there. We know some Republicans, about fourty is it have shown signs of being unhappy with the RINO majority.

The answer is for the Republicans in office to re-register under a different name. which would attract citizens who are likewise unhappy. 40 is not a bad start. It would show some integrity and a lack of fear a presentlly hanging over the GOP as if it were a city dump burn. My personal preference would be Constitutional Republicans and then pushing for some changes in exchange for their votes. Blocking unlimited direct contributions to candidates. Limiting the currently allowed contributtions to PACS to be spent in the donor own geo-political area per his/her voters ballot and pamphlet.. Changing the format of bills submitted with a cover page that cites the names gives a intent statement that matches the name, cites a constitutional authority, and a cost and source of funding. My top three.

However if they continue same old same old same old I have no interest in left wing sell outs.

But as for that tax break as stated I would not trust it too far. Anything worth doing is worth at least a literate heading. my take is 'suspicious.'

I watched the entire 9.12 minutes of the talk and was waiting to see if the camera would pan the chamber so we could see the number of other representative (?) sitting and listening. What I suspect is that there might have been 10 if that many. The only thing he accomplished was to get his say. And as we have seen it was passed so all could go home for the holidays. If we were to be lucky maybe they will not return.

Yesterday on the radio Rush said Obama called Paul Ryan to state: "Thanks for making government work."
I keep wondering what RINO Ryan said when he puckered up to respond.

    It will not fail.

Republicans will not regain their party until enough of them stop looking for handouts, man-up and just support the success of a free market.

I don't get the tax breaks for states without local sales tax. So what? Seems to me all the states without sales tax are the least socialist. Is the implication that these states unfairly benefit from putting their tax burden on property tax receiving a break in federal taxes?

    Of course it passed.
As I have been warning for 3 years here, the GOP are no better than the Dems. They follow the path they have followed for generations: increasing power to themselves in government and stealing it from the people.
Lucky people! We get all the immigrants that the muslim in chief wants us to have.
Welcome! Bomb strapped to your chest? No problem!

This is what you should expect from anyone in the statist party, even when they claim to have been "influenced" by Ayn Rand's work.
    GOP. Nothing but lying looters.

I would vote for crying. I had high hopes for Ryan when he put together his plans to whittle away the budget. Those hopes dwindled and died when he became Speaker over several better choices. Now it seems that he, too, has conscripted Boehner's lack of spine.

One can hope, but don't hold your breath.

I heard Paul Ryan say that he is off to a good start as Speaker. I hope no one saw me laughing out loud while driving down the road. Ryan, as well as most elected officials are so out of touch with reality, I don't know if I should laugh or cry.
