This is eye candy. It can be nice to relax to a presentation like this. I confess that Sagan's _Cosmos_ episode, "Backbone of the Night", inspired me to pursue a numismatic collection of Greek silver coins each worth a day's wages from the towns and times of philosophers. But the "billions and billions" is not actual learning. For entertainment, it is what it is. If you want learning, then anyone who can understand Objectivist epistemology can read physics, astronomy, and astrophysics on their own. I like Neil Degrasse-Tyson as a television person, but I watched a couple of his "educational" videos and he is even more shallow than was Sagan. He dumbs it all down. It reminds me of Ayn Rand's description of Elsworth Toohey's "Sermons in Stone." Toohey made Vitruvius a household name for those who never would actually read _De Architectura_.

But if you watch this and learn something, please write it up.
