Well this should work out conveniently well for the Hillary Clinton campaign. I'm pretty tired of being a racist myself, so it will be a nice change of pace once I'm a sexist instead of a racist.

What if one is truly bossy? What if people are actually softening their criticism by using this word in place of something more offensive? What if we ban the word police? What if there were bigger problems in the world?!?!

You won't change people's minds by using a different word. I wonder if by focusing on it, you paradoxically support people focusing on gender stereotypes. You might also make it seem cool to kids if authority figures disapprove.

The way to fight it, I think, is to dismiss it as stupid and comical. For a long time people said it was immoral to solve personal disputes with a duel, but once it became viewed as stupid educated people stopped dueling.

Typical participation-trophy thinking. Instead of calling on people to recognize a teachable moment, let's just stop calling girls names that hurt our feelings way back when.
